Method Details

getStepEnablerRecord

StepEnablerRecord getStepEnablerRecord(Type stepEnablerRecordType)
                                throws OperationFailedException

Gets the step enabler record corresponding to the given StepEnabler record Type. This method ie used to retrieve an object implementing the requested record. The stepEnablerRecordType may be the Type returned in getRecordTypes() or any of its parents in a Type hierarchy where hasRecordType(stepEnablerRecordType) is true.

Parameters:

stepEnablerRecordType - the type of step enabler record to retrieve

Returns:

the step enabler record

Throws:

NullArgumentException - stepEnablerRecordType is null

OperationFailedException - unable to complete request

UnsupportedException - hasRecordType(stepEnablerRecordType) is false
